The information needed to be revised and structured according to information types enabling end users to easy and quickly find the correct information, still fulfilling the EU regulations for the information. IV Produkt also wanted the information to be accessible via mobile devices, enabling the service organizations to access product specific information using their mobile phones or tablets.
Iv Produkt has choosen DocFactory as the information management system for the customer support information. DocFactory is used as the single source management system including the documentation portal where the end users find and access product specific information. The information created by IV Produkt is assigned tags and facets to be set into contexts as category, product, information type and component type. Using the context settings, end users can use the information portal to navigate and search information in an easy and quick way to find the relevant information for the specific product.
